Schon: NFL Week Sixteen Picks

I used to think the worst three hours anyone could ever spend would involve my ex-wife, her attorney and a very large jar of petroleum products – but after watching the Denver Broncos defense last week, I may want to rethink that.

Last Sunday’s version gagged Jenna Jamison. Rolling over on a seventy-one yard touchdown blast by rookie Jacoby Ford and a seventy-three yard rocket to Marcel Reece almost pales in comparison to the enormous chunk of real estate they eventually handed out over the course of sixty-minutes.

Five hundred two-yards to be precise, five football fields laid end-to-end or roughly three-feet shy of the Rosie O’Donnell buffet. No matter how you look at it – it’s not pretty. And I wouldn’t count on it getting pretty anytime soon.

Speaking of painful – my picks are dropping faster than Obama’s approval rating thanks to Roni Bryant and her Cajun voodoo road-kill curse…. Got a feeling this is my week to rebound – then again it might just be the hangover.
