Chargers sign Malcom Floyd to an extension

San Diego Chargers wide receiver Malcom Floyd signed a three-year contract extension running through the 2015 season. The 6-foot-5, 225-pounder signed a two-year deal with the team shortly after the NFL lockout ended last season. Floyd has caught 190 career passes for 3,397 yards and 21 touchdowns. He has averaged 17.9 yards per reception.

Floyd caught 80 passes for 1,573 yards and 11 touchdowns over the past two seasons.

This year, he leads the Chargers with 13 receptions for 227 yards with a 17.5 average.
