With the Cardinals and Jets meeting up for the first time since the 2008 season, each team's slim playoff hopes will be on the line in Week 13. Find out the match-ups to watch from Green and White Report's Nick St. Denis.

When the Cardinals are on offense:

Cardinals quarterbacks have been sacked 46 times this season, so the Jets' struggling pass rush, which has tallied just 17 QB takedowns so far this year, should get a shot in the arm facing sixth-round rookie signal-caller Ryan Lindley and Arizona's sieve-like offensive line. Gang Green expects a run-heavy offense early behind Beanie Wells to set up play-action.

When the Cardinals are on defense: Arizona has grabbed a not-too-shabby 15 interceptions this season. The Cardinals' defensive backs will certainly be out for blood against Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, who has a knack for throwing the untimely interception and turning the ball over in the red zone. Like the Cardinals, the Jets will bank on the ground game early.

A Cardinals' strength:

Low completion rate on opposing quarterbacks. Arizona is allowing opposing signal-callers to complete just 55.6 percent of their passes, which is second lowest in the NFL.

A Cardinals' weakness:

Third-down offense. The Cardinals have the worst third-down offense in the league, moving the chains just 28.4 percent of the time. As a result, they've punted more times (73) than anyone else.

Matchup to watch:

Cardinals' offensive line vs. Jets' defensive front. Backup offensive lineman Rich Ohrnberger will make his first start of the season at center due to an injury to Lyle Sendlein, which could be disastrous against red-hot Jets defensive lineman Muhammad Wilkerson and a healthier tackle Sione Pouha.

Final thoughts:

The Jets shouldn't have much trouble with this one despite how awful they've been as of late. New York wreaks havoc on an overwhelmed Lindley, and Gang Green cruises.
