Jamie Newberg's Notes:
Borland was the Nagurski-Woodson Big 10 Defensive Player of the Year after recording 111 tackles. He finished his career at Wisconsin with 420 tackles, 50 tackles for a loss, and set a conference record with 15 forced fumbles. This is a tackling machine. Borland is a downhill guy that plays with a fast motor. He's just one of those guys that's always around the ball making something happen. Borland's too short (5-foot-11) and too slow (4.83 forty) but he makes play after play. He's just a football player.

Jamie Newberg's Notes:
Henderson never lived up to the billing of being the nation's top recruit in the 2009 class. This former five-star recruit had an up and down career at the University of Miami. He only had 15 starts over his finals two seasons in Coral Gables. He has all the tools to be a very good player but just never could get there as a Hurricanes. Henderson is 6-foot-7, 331-pounds with an arm length of 34 5/8". He has good feet, can bend and move and has shown flashes of being that dominant blocker in the run and pass game. Henderson's a long giant that has just underachieved.

Jamie Newberg's Notes:
Smith played for four seasons and stared 27 games at Arkansas. He finished with 122 tackles, 29.5 tackles for a loss, 24.5 sacks, 20 quarterback hurries. Those are some pretty good numbers. He's only 6-foot-1 but he's long (34 1/8 arm length) and weighs 266-pounds. Smith only ran a 4.71 forty but had a very good 10-yard split (1.59). He gets off the ball and up field fast. Smith plays hard and fast and is a good athlete who can get after the quarterback and make plays behind the line of scrimmage.

Jamie Newberg's Notes:
Purifoy started 19 games over a three-year, 37 game career for the University of Florida. This is a kid with a ton of talent and athletic ability who made his share of big plays in Gainesville. Purifoy's a special teams standout with a knack for blocking punts. But he has a chance to be a productive cornerback in the NFL. He has good size (5-11/190) and length (32 ¾" arm length). Purifoy only ran 4.61 [forty] but had a good 10 yard split of 1.58 at NFL Combine. He also posted a 35.5" vertical jump and 10' broad jump. There's no question the tools are there but can Purifoy put it together and live up to his talent and physical traits?

Sankey had a big season last year rushing for 1,870 yards, rushing for over 200-yards on three different occassions. He earned 2nd Team All-American honors and 1st Team All-Pac 12. Sankey is a shade taller than 5-foot-9, 209-pounds. He tested very well at NFL Combine, running a 4.49 forty (1.59 10 yard split), 4.00 short shuttle, 35.5" vertical jump, 10'6" broad jump and bench pressed 225-pounds 26 times. Those numbers show speed, quickness, strength and explosion, all traits you look for in a running back. You also want a back to show balance, vision and quick feet and Sankey has that as well.

Murphy had a nice Cardinal career starting 40 times. During his time at Stanford he recorded 52. 5 tackles for a loss and 32.5 sacks. In 2013 he was 2nd Team All-American after his 15 sack and 23.5 tackles for a loss season. He's 6-foot-5, 250-pounds. Murphy has long arms (33 7/8") and big hands (11 1/8"). He only ran 4.86 [forty] but did post a 4.20 short shuttle and 35.5" vertical jump at NFL Combine. Murphy is a smart, high energy, get after it kind of player. He's a good athlete that can rush the passer and make plays in the backfield off the edge.

Jamie Newberg's Notes:
Sutton is smaller (6-0/303) defensive tackle prospect. He has short arms (31 1/14). But in the game of football the low man typically wins the battle in the trenches and Sutton plays with nice leverage. He has good quickness and uses his hands well. Sutton recorded 48 tackles, 13.5 tackles for a loss and four sacks as a senior. Don't let last year's sack total fool you, he can rush the passer pretty effectively for an interior defensive lineman. He looks like the best fit playing the three-technique.

Niklas is a huge tight end prospect at 6-foot-6, 270-pounds. He has the length of an offensive tackle with 34 1/8" arms and 10" hands. At the NFL Combine he bench pressed 225-pounds 27 times, had a 32" vertical jump and a short shuttle of 4.56. Those are all pretty impressive numbers. Niklas had 13 starts in 2013, catching 32 passes for 498 yards, scoring five touchdowns. This is the next standout tight end from Notre Dame. Niklas is a very intriguing prospect because of his size, athletic ability and versatility. He's a good receiving tight end and his blocking has improved.

Bryant is another very good wide receiver prospect from Clemson. He starred alongside Sammy Watkins for the Tigers. Bryant finished with 42 receptions for 828 yards and seven touchdowns last fall. Of those catches, 17 were for greater than 20-yards. He's just under 6-foot-4, 211-pounds. Bryant had a good season and tested very well at NFL Combine, running 4.42 [forty], 4.15 short shuttle and posting a 39" vertical jump. Bryant is far from a finished product and needs to work on consistency in all facets of his game. If he does that than he could shine in the NFL because he has the skill set and big play ability.

Kirksey started the final three-years as a Hawkeye. He had a very productive 2013 season, finishing with 104 tackles, five tackles for a loss, 2.5 sacks, one interception, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. I thought Kirksey was one of the pleasant surprises at the Senior Bowl. He's a physical and aggressive linebacker who can play in space. Kirksey played both the strong and weak-side positions at Iowa.

Ferguson played in a bunch of games (38) at LSU but only had a dozen starts, all this past season. He finished the 2013 season with 58 tackles, 3.5 tackles for a loss, and one sack. He has good size at 6-foot-3, 315-pounds, giant hands (10 ¾") and average arm length (32 ¼"). Ferguson didn't run at the NFL Combine but did bench press 225-pounds two dozen times. This is a physical gifted interior lineman that needs time to develop. Ferguson is blessed with a good skill set and he moves so well. He showed some of his vast potential in Baton Rouge.

James had a terrific career in Knoxville and was in the lineup from day one. He started all 49 games at right tackle at the University of Tennessee. His first season in 2010 he earned All-SEC honors. In 2013 James was 2nd Team All-SEC. He's 6-foot-6, 311-pounds and he has very good length (35" arms). At the NFL Combine he posted a short shuttle of 4.56, showing good lateral quickness. This is an experienced tackle prospect equally adept in the run game and in pass pro.

Richardson finished his career as third all-time in receptions (156), fifth in receiving yards (2,423), second in touchdown receptions (21) at Colorado. This past year he was the team's MVP and earned 1st Team All-Pac 12 honors after catching 83 passes for 1,347 yards and 10 touchdowns. At NFL Combine he measured in at 6-foot-0, 175-pounds. He ran a 4.4 [forty] with a 10-yard split of 1.54. Richardson had a 38" vertical jump and 10'4" broad jump. Richardson showed the ability as a Buffalo to get behind the secondary and be an outstanding deep threat. He's a big play guy but his size is certainly going to be an issue at the next level. He sustained a torn ACL during the spring of 2012 and missed four games the previous season with another knee injury.

Bradford has put up big numbers over last two seasons, combining for 20 sacks and 40.5 tackles for a loss. In that time he started every game for Arizona State and was named 1st Team All-Pac 12 this past year. He has a suddenness to him and closes to the ball very quickly. He's a tad short (just under 6-foot-1, 250-pounds). Bradford displays good short area quickness and the ability to play in space. He's a big hitter who excels at rushing the passer. Bradford looks ideal as a 3-4 outside linebacker.

On top of that this 5-foot-9, 193-pound wide receiver threw up 225 times 18 times. He has strength and explosiveness. Herron has quickness, speed and catches the ball well.
