Broncos waive 12 players

The Denver Broncos have waived 12 players and placed rookie wide receiver Domenik Hixon (in photo) on the reserve/non-football injury list.

Hixon, selected by the Broncos in the fourth round (130th overall) of the 2006 NFL Draft from the University of Akron, has a left foot injury.
