The Denver Broncos 31-20 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers may have helped solidify the top spot in the AFC West, but it certainly came with a price.

Nine different players suffered injuries, the most significant being safety Sam Brandon, who tore the ACL in his knee and will be sidelined the remainder of the season.

In addition to Brandon, the following players were listed during Mike Shanahan's Monday press conference.

Ebenezer Ekuban: Strained thigh - will undergo an MRI examination later today
Ian Gold: Strained hamstring - will undergo an MRI examination later today
Patrick Chukwurah: Strained hamstring - will undergo an MRI examination later today
Darrent Williams: Separated shoulder - status uncertain - will know more mid-week
Rod Smith: Separated shoulder - status uncertain - will know more mid-week
John Lynch: Concussion - CT scan came up negative
Nick Ferguson: Concussion - CT scan came up negative
Al Wilson: Mild concussion - no examination

Players were given an extra day off today and will return to practice on Wednesday in preparation for Sunday's battle in Oakland.
