Broncos Update has confirmed that Cecil Sapp suffered a broken leg during Sunday night's 23-20 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

Broncos Update has now confirmed that running back Cecil Sapp suffered a broken leg during the fourth quarter of last night’s loss to the Seahawks and is more than likely headed for injured reserve.

Initially the injury did not appear to be serious to team physicians, as Sapp walked off the field without any assistance.

Sapp, who also plays with the special teams unit, saw limited action in the backfield Sunday night with two carries for 24-yards as well as a one-yard reception.

Check back with Broncos Update throughout the day for further information.
