The Denver Broncos on Monday acquired the Houston Texans’ sixth-round choice in the 2008 NFL Draft in exchange for center Chris Myers.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos on Monday acquired the Houston Texans’ sixth-round choice in the 2008 NFL Draft in exchange for center Chris Myers, Head Coach Mike Shanahan announced.

Myers, a fourth-year player, was a restricted free agent who signed a contract with the Broncos to facilitate the trade. He was selected by the Broncos in the sixth round (200th overall) of the 2005 NFL Draft from the University of Miami.

Denver now owns nine selections in the 2008 NFL Draft. The club is set to pick once in the first round (12th overall), once in the second round (42nd overall), twice in the fourth round, twice in the fifth round, once in the sixth round and twice in the seventh round.
