ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos on Wednesday signed free-agent quarterback Ingle Martin, it was announced. As per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The Broncos also on Wednesday waived rookie running back Marcus Thigpen, who signed with the team on Aug. 17.

A consensus All-American at Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville, Tenn., Martin was born on Aug. 15, 1982.
