Check out the full list of those released. Well here you go Colorado – the Denver Broncos have officially trimmed down to the league mandated 53-man roster limit by waiving 17 players today. The team also placed RB Anthony Alridge (left foot) and fullback Cecil Sapp (left quadriceps) on its reserve/injured list and moved tight end Brett Pierce (left ankle) to its waived/injured list. Beginning Sunday, the team can establish a practice squad of up to eight players. Here’s the list of those released, broken down by position.
